Footpath Inspection Main Index
I'm a footpath inspector for the Peak & Northern Footpaths Society. I regularly walk all the footpaths in the areas I'm responsible for. When I find an obstruction or other fault, I take the matter up with the Highway Authority, within the county council.
The purpose of this section of my site is to show photographs of problem areas. The photos are available to the Highway Authority, the Peak & Northern Footpath Society, and anyone else who's interested.
Footpaths are numbered within parishes. I'm responsible for thirteen parishes, listed below — three around Macclesfield, Cheshire, six in the Derbyshire Dales, and four in the Amber Valley, Derbyshire. Click on a parish name or on a coloured area of map to see the index for that parish.
Alternatively, click on the "Next" link at the top or bottom of the page, to visit all the pages in turn.
